Role Description The Calibration Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Calibration Specialist will perform routine and complex calibration of mechanical, electro-technical, thermal, pressure, dimensional, and environmental testing instruments in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and NABL requirements. Daily responsibilities include setting up and operating calibration equipment, recording and analyzing measurement data, preparing calibration certificates and reports, and maintaining accurate documentation and traceability records.



The role involves troubleshooting instrument performance issues, coordinating with the quality team to ensure compliance with internal procedures, and supporting audits and periodic verification of lab equipment. The Calibration Specialist will collaborate with team members and clients to understand technical requirements, prioritize calibration tasks, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment. Qualifications
• Strong calibration skills for mechanical, electro-technical, thermal, pressure, dimensional, and environmental testing instruments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting measurement and instrumentation issues to ensure reliable and accurate results.
• Solid laboratory skills, including safe equipment handling, data recording, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Experience in quality control practices, including compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NABL guidelines, and internal quality systems.
• Knowledge of instrumentation principles, sensor technologies, and measurement systems used in calibration and testing.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, physics, instrumentation, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, calibration standards, and equipment manuals.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work methodically in a high-precision workplace.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with laboratory staff, clients, and auditors.
• Prior experience in a NABL or ISO/IEC
