Role Description The Sr. Design Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and development of thermal engineering products and systems within SANPAR’s compressed air treatment and industrial cooling portfolio. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed engineering designs, preparing and validating CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and procurement to ensure manufacturability and performance. The role involves translating customer requirements into robust product designs,



supporting prototyping and testing, resolving design-related issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing product lines. The Sr. Design Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, support documentation for standards compliance, and collaborate on aerospace and defense projects as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Qualifications
• Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with experience in thermal or industrial systems.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and design validation.
• Understanding of Product Design principles, including materials selection, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Basic exposure to Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to integrated cooling and air treatment systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in industrial equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air systems, or aerospace/defense projects is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering standards, prepare technical documentation, and support compliance with ISO and AS9100 requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior team members is beneficial.
