Job Purpose: To manage the day-to-day Stores operations, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control and timely issue of materials to support uninterrupted production.
Key Responsibilities
● Receive and verify raw materials, electronic components, mechanical parts and consumables against Purchase Orders. ● Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection and maintain inward/GRN records. ● Maintain proper bin location, identification, FIFO and material traceability. ● Issue materials to Production and other departments as per approved requirements. ● Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory. ● Conduct regular stock verification and investigate inventory variances.
● Monitor critical/shortage materials and coordinate with Purchase and Production. ● Control slow-moving, excess and obsolete materials. ● Maintain 5S, safety and housekeeping within the Stores area. ● Supervise Store Assistants and ensure proper documentation and discipline. ● Support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and material handling processes. Key KPIs: ● Inventory Accuracy ● Material Availability ● Stock Variance ● Timely Material Issue ● GRN/Inward Accuracy ● Cycle Count Compliance ● 5S & Housekeeping ● ERP Transaction AccuracyRequired
Skills:
● 3–6 years’ experience in a manufacturing Stores environment. ● Good knowledge of ERP, Excel, inventory management and FIFO. ● Experience handling electronic and mechanical components preferred. ● Positive coordination, organisation and team-management skills.
