Role Description The Environmental Health Safety Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe working environment within data center operations. Daily activities include conducting workplace inspections and risk assessments, maintaining safety documentation, and supporting incident reporting and investigation. The specialist will plan and deliver safety training sessions,



collaborate with operations and facilities teams to mitigate hazards, and drive continuous improvement in EHS practices. The role also involves supporting emergency preparedness initiatives, promoting a culture of safety, and coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed. Qualifications
• Robust foundation in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety, with the ability to identify, assess, and control risks in technical and operational environments.
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health, including familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to design and deliver effective Safety Training programs, and communicate safety requirements clearly to diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications in EHS or occupational safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are an advantage.
• Experience working in data centers, critical infrastructure, or industrial facilities is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments, manage multiple priorities, and support on-site teams in a fast-paced environment.
