Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Professor of Finance role based in the Mohali district campus of Amity University. The Professor of Finance will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate finance courses, ensuring alignment with current academic standards and industry practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, leading tutorials and seminars, supervising student research projects and dissertations, and developing innovative teaching materials. The role involves conducting high-quality research,



publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to curriculum development in finance and related areas. The professor will also mentor students, participate in departmental meetings and committees, engage with industry and academic partners, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Finance and Corporate Finance.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Accounting and related financial reporting practices.
• Candidates should possess strong foundations in Economics and its application to financial markets and institutions.
• Candidates should possess advanced Research skills, including quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Doctoral degree (PhD) in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Proven record of scholarly publications and active research in relevant finance domains.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level with effective classroom and online pedagogy.
• Ability to design curriculum, use educational technology, and adopt student-centered teaching approaches.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills, with the ability to work in a diverse academic workplace.
• Experience in engaging with industry, consulting, or executive education in finance is an advantage.
