JHS is looking for enthusiastic and driven CA Article Assistants to join its Internal Audit team in Mumbai. The role will provide hands-on exposure to internal audits, process reviews, risk and control assessments, and assignments across diverse industries. The position is suited for candidates who want to build a strong foundation in internal audit, risk management, internal controls and business processes, with practical client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting internal audits and process reviews across business functions.
• Understand business processes through discussions, walkthroughs and review of documentation.
• Perform risk and control assessments and identify process/control gaps.
• Carry out audit testing, sample verification and supporting-document review.
• Assist in reviewing SOPs, policies, processes and internal controls.
• Perform data analysis and prepare audit working papers.
• Document audit observations with clear facts, risks and recommendations.
• Support preparation of internal audit reports and management presentations.
• Coordinate with client teams for information, clarifications and closure of audit observations.
• Assist the team on assignments involving IFC/ICoFR, risk management, process improvement and compliance reviews,



as applicable. Candidate Profile
• CA student eligible for Articleship as per applicable ICAI requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Valuable understanding of accounting and basic internal control concepts.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn different businesses, processes and industries.
• Ability to work in teams and interact professionally with clients.
• Candidates should be comfortable with a work-from-office role in Mumbai and client-site visits where assignments require them. What the Role Offers
