Position: Assistant Manager – Import Customs & Compliance Client: Bajaj Auto Limited

Location:
Pune, Akurdi.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor BAL's import shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Coordinate with Head Office, transporters, freight forwarders, and courier agents.
• Handle import customs-related queries and prepare draft responses to Customs authorities.
• Authenticate deferred duty payments and coordinate with ICEGATE for system-related issues and facility restoration.
• Maintain and update IGCRD records and Bajaj Auto licence records.
• Prepare and file periodic statutory returns.
• Handle re-export of rejected goods imported under IGCRD.
• Manage documentation for goods sent abroad for repairs and their subsequent return.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Perform any other activities assigned by Bajaj Auto from time to time. Required Skills
• Knowledge of Import Customs Clearance and EXIM procedures.
• Familiarity with ICEGATE, IGCRD, and deferred duty payment.
• Valuable coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
