Job Title: Engineer / Senior Estimation Engineer Reporting To: AGM – Methods

Location:
Hyderabad ( ATS Factory ) Job Summary Prepare accurate cost estimates for machining and manufacturing projects by reviewing drawings, selecting suitable processes, and calculating material, tooling, setup and machining costs.

Key Responsibilities
• Review engineering drawings and prepare cost estimates and quotations.
• Calculate machining cycle times for CNC, VMC and HMC operations.
• Identify suitable tools, cutting speeds, feeds and setups.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and production teams.
• Recommend cost-effective manufacturing methods.
• Maintain cost databases and estimation reports.
• For the senior role,



lead the estimation team and review estimates before quotation release. Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in machining and manufacturing cost estimation.
• Robust knowledge of machining processes, tooling and manufacturing costs.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; CAD/CAM knowledge is desirable.
• Team leadership experience for the senior role. Key Skills Analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, teamwork and time management.
