Role Description The Corporate Banking Group Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate clients. The position involves understanding client business needs, delivering tailored financial solutions, and cross-selling the Bank’s products and services across lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury offerings. Day-to-day activities include client meetings, credit and financial analysis, portfolio monitoring, deal structuring, documentation coordination,



and ensuring high service standards. The role also requires close collaboration with product, credit, risk, and operations teams to support transaction execution and maintain portfolio quality. The Relationship Manager is expected to contribute to business development, revenue growth, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements. Qualifications
• Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build, deepen, and retain corporate client relationships.
• Robust Analytical Skills to assess financial statements, credit profiles, sector trends, and portfolio risks.
• Solid understanding of Finance and Financial Services, including corporate lending, trade finance, and cash management solutions.
• Experience in Portfolio Management to manage exposures, monitor performance, and optimize risk-return outcomes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in corporate or commercial banking, with exposure to large and mid-corporate clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Strong ethical standards, knowledge of regulatory guidelines, and commitment to compliance and risk management.
