Field Sales & Business Development Executive: Government & Education BQTech | Full-time | [Jaipur/ Travel-heavy] About BQTech BQTech builds and runs technology services for government, PSU and enterprise clients. The role We want someone who opens doors. You will go to the client, find the decision-maker, and start the conversation. You will handle the technical depth and the strategy. You will build the pipeline. This is a field role. Expect travel, campus visits, department offices and follow-ups in person. What you’ll do
• Generate leads at universities, state education departments and government institutions
• Travel to client sites and run first meetings
• Map the client chain: who decides, who influences, who signs, who pays
• Track tenders on GeM, CPPP and state e-procurement portals, and flag the ones we can win
• Understand pre-bid stages, eligibility criteria and empanelment routes
• Pick up early signals: budgets, upcoming projects and IT modernisation plans
• Keep a clean CRM pipeline and report weekly
• Work directly with the founder on pitches, proposals and follow-ups What we’re looking for
• 2–5 years in B2G,



govtech, edtech or IT field sales
• You know how government offices work: files, approvals and the gap between the official process and how things actually move
• Hands-on exposure to tenders, GeM or PSU procurement
• Comfortable walking into a Registrar’s or IT Director’s office without an appointment
• Solid Hindi and English. A regional language is a plus.
• Willing to travel extensively
• Self-driven, but open to coaching Good to have
• An existing network in universities or state education departments
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and blockchain technology
• A background selling ERP, campus software or IT infrastructure What you get
