Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Junior QA Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Playwright automation, a good understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts, and experience with Grafana monitoring and backend testing using SSH and Linux commands. The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, automating test scenarios, testing AI/ML workflows, analyzing application logs, identifying defects, and collaborating with development and DevOps teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manual and Functional Testing
• Design, develop, and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.




• Validate end-to-end workflows, data accuracy, API responses, and application behavior.
• Maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect status updates. 2. Test Automation – Playwright
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Automate UI workflows, regression scenarios, and critical business functionalities.
• Work with locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, browser contexts, and reusable test methods.
• Handle authentication, session management, file uploads, popups, and dynamic UI elements.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and troubleshoot flaky tests.
• Generate and maintain automation execution reports, integrating reporting tools where required. 3. AI/ML Product Testing
• Demonstrate a positive understanding of AI/ML concepts, including datasets, features, target variables, model training, validation, and scoring.
• Test AI/ML application workflows such as data ingestion, preprocessing, feature selection, model development, and prediction/scoring.
• Validate dataset uploads, schema compatibility, missing values, categorical and numerical features, and data quality checks.
• Validate model outputs, feature importance, data transformations, and error handling.
• Test edge cases involving large datasets, invalid inputs, missing values, outliers, and unsupported configurations.
• Understand the importance of model performance, stability, reproducibility, and data consistency. 4. Grafana and Log Monitoring
• Use Grafana dashboards to monitor application health, performance, resource utilization, and service metrics.
• Analyze logs and metrics to investigate application errors and test failures.
• Identify anomalies, performance bottlenecks, and unexpected behavior during test execution.




• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot environment and service-related issues. 5. Backend Testing and SSH
• Connect to Linux-based environments using SSH.
• Execute basic Linux commands to inspect files, directories, processes, and application logs.
• Investigate backend issues using log files, error messages, and service status information.
• Validate backend job execution, service availability, and application behavior.
• Use basic shell commands to support test execution, debugging, and environment verification.
• Possess a basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP status codes, JSON payloads, and API testing. 6. Collaboration and Reporting
• Work closely with developers, data scientists, product teams, and DevOps engineers.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, defect triage, and release testing.
• Communicate defects clearly with reproducible steps, logs, screenshots, and supporting evidence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation coverage. Required Skills and Qualifications
• Approximately 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Hands-on knowledge of Playwright automation using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Good understanding of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data-driven applications.
• Knowledge of Grafana dashboards and application monitoring.
• Basic hands-on experience with SSH, Linux commands, and backend log analysis.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.
• Familiarity with Git, defect tracking tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Good to Have
• Experience testing ML model training, validation, and scoring workflows.
• Familiarity with Python and basic scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Experience with Allure Reports or similar test reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based environments.
• Understanding of performance testing and application observability.
