The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to build, run and improve release pipelines for enterprise Salesforce programs. You’ll own the path from developer commit to Production: designing branching and environment strategies, enforcing code quality, and managing releases. This is a client-facing role. You’ll be the trusted DevOps voice in conversations with client architects, developers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Design, build and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines across development, QA, UAT, staging and Production environments.
• Define and run Git branching strategies for parallel releases, including hotfix management across in-flight branches.
• Embed code quality and security gates using SonarQube and static analysis.
• Plan and execute releases end to end: validation, deployment, rollback readiness, post-deployment verification and release documentation.
• Manage sandbox strategy, refreshes,



setting synchronisation and back-promotion.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures across Apex, Flows, LWC, profiles, permission sets and metadata dependencies.
• Run release calls and go/no-go decisions with client stakeholders.
• Mentor developers on Git workflows, deployment standards and DevOps best practices. Required skills
• 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps and release engineering.
• Strong experience with at least one Salesforce DevOps platform (Copado, Gearset or Flosum) plus Salesforce CLI/SFDX.
• Hands-on SonarQube experience in a Salesforce pipeline.
• Deep Git expertise: branching models, merge-conflict resolution, cherry-picks and hotfix flows.
• CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar, including writing pipeline code yourself.
• Release experience on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Field Service implementations.
• Clear, confident communication with client stakeholders. Nice to Have
• Salesforce Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect, Platform Developer I, or Copado certifications.
• PMD, Checkmarx or other security scanning tools. . Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are strongly preferred.
