Role Description The Senior Physical Design Engineer will work on full-chip and block-level physical design flows, including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure, and power optimization. Responsibilities include collaborating with architecture and RTL teams to define design constraints, performing static timing analysis, and driving physical verification sign-off. The engineer will help improve design methodologies, debug implementation issues, and support tape-out activities using industry-standard EDA tools. • Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Design, including floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and timing closure.
• Candidates should possess skills in Physical Verification, including DRC, LVS, and sign-off checks using standard EDA tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in Logic Design and Circuit Design, with an understanding of digital design fundamentals and low-power techniques.
• Candidates should possess skills in RTL Design, including working with RTL code, constraints, and interfacing with front-end design teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or similar EDA suites for implementation and verification.
• Experience with advanced technology nodes, high-performance or low-power SoC design is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
