This role is for candidates based in India only. Vestio Capital is a US real estate investment firm that owns and operates multifamily apartments and vacation rentals. Our vacation rental cabins and resort units are in a popular US leisure destination, supported by an in office maintenance technician, front desk staff and local US vendors. We're hiring a Senior Maintenance Lead to own the condition of every unit (HVAC, hot tubs and pools, appliances, plumbing, electrical, internet and life-safety equipment), working remotely from India on US hours. You won't be on site. Our technician and local vendors are your hands. You troubleshoot live with guests and technicians by phone and video, decide what gets fixed, by whom and how fast, and build the preventive program that catches problems before a guest does.

What you'll do
• Own every maintenance ticket from guest report to verified closure, with a first response within 15 minutes.
• Guide guests and technicians through fixes on video: thermostats, tripped breakers and GFCI outlets, hot tub error codes, water heaters, router resets.
• Decide the fix path (talk the guest through it, send our technician, or call a vendor) and prioritise by guest impact. No AC or heat, no hot water, hot tub down, leaks and lockouts are same-day.
• Build and run the preventive maintenance calendar for every unit (HVAC, hot tubs and pool chemistry, dryer vents, water heaters, smoke and CO alarms).
• Find, vet and manage local US vendors; get quotes, negotiate, and confirm every job with photos before it is closed or paid.
• Build our maintenance knowledge base and train the front desk and housekeeping to solve simple issues themselves.
• Track repeat failures and spend, and report weekly on open tickets, repeat issues and costs. What we're looking for
• Excellent spoken and written English.



You will be on calls with US guests and vendors all day, and need to calm an upset guest at 11 PM and hold a contractor to a schedule.
• 10+ years in building, hotel or resort maintenance, including 3+ years supervising technicians and contractors.
• A trade background: you started as a technician or engineer and can diagnose a fault from a description, photo or video.
• Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, hot tubs and pools, plumbing, electrical and water heaters.
• Experience with a work-order system (Breezeway, Maximo, ServiceChannel, Corrigo or similar) and spreadsheets.
• Comfortable learning new tools quickly. We use Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Sheets and AI tools daily.
• Organised, self-driven, and able to juggle many open issues at once. Strongly preferred
• Experience with US-style systems (ducted HVAC and heat pumps, 120/240V, tank water heaters), gained in the US, on US military or embassy contracts, or at US-brand hotels and resorts.
• Experience coordinating maintenance remotely for US, UK or Canadian property managers.
• Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager at a resort or villa property.
• EPA 608 or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification. Schedule and setup
• Monday to Saturday, with your shift inside our US office hours of 7:30 AM – 9:30 PM Eastern (roughly evening to early morning India time).
• On Zoom with camera on during your shift, like the rest of our team.
• A dedicated workspace, reliable high-speed internet, a laptop, a second monitor and a headset. Pay: ₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month.
