About the Role
BioStack is building partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem to develop high-quality clinical datasets for healthcare AI, life sciences and research. We are looking for a Manager – Healthcare Data Partnerships to identify, evaluate and drive partnerships with hospitals, senior clinicians, diagnostic laboratories, EHR/HIS companies, digital-health platforms, specialty healthcare networks and other healthcare organizations. This is a hands-on, externally facing role with significant ownership of the partnership lifecycle. The Manager will work closely with the VP – Healthcare, taking opportunities from initial engagement through data discovery, due diligence, stakeholder coordination, closure and partnership activation. Senior leadership will remain involved in strategic relationships, commercial structuring and key deal negotiations. The role combines healthcare partnerships, business development and data-driven opportunity assessment. Prior experience specifically in healthcare data partnerships is not required, but candidates should be comfortable learning how clinical data is generated, stored and used.
Key Responsibilities
● Proactively identify and develop new partnership opportunities across the healthcare ecosystem. ● Take ownership of opportunities following initial engagement and actively drive them toward signed LOIs and partnerships. ● Conduct first-level data discovery and due diligence, assessing patient volumes, historical depth, longitudinality, completeness, digitization, linkage and accessibility. ● Understand available data modalities—including EHR/EMR, laboratory, imaging, pathology, prescriptions,
clinical notes and other clinical data—and assess their quality and extraction feasibility. ● Assess the potential clinical, research, AI and commercial value of datasets, along with partner readiness and feasibility of execution, and recommend which opportunities merit deeper evaluation. ● Engage confidently with healthcare leadership, senior clinicians, medical administrators, IT/HIS teams, founders and other relevant stakeholders. ● Support commercial discussions while working with senior leadership on partnership structure, commercials and deal terms. ● Act as the coordination point between partners and BioStack's commercial, technical, legal and data teams. ● Coordinate data assessments, meetings, proposals, documentation and follow-ups through partnership closure, and support the transition from signed agreement to data access and partnership activation. ● Maintain a structured partnership pipeline with transparent next steps, risks, priorities and ownership. Ideal Profile ● 3–6 years of experience in healthcare business development, partnerships, enterprise sales, key accounts, healthcare technology, consulting or other client-facing commercial roles within the healthcare ecosystem. ● Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare, life sciences, technology or business background preferred. An MBA is an added advantage.
● Relevant healthcare industry experience and demonstrated understanding of the healthcare ecosystem will be valued more highly than a specific educational qualification. ● Strong familiarity with the Indian healthcare ecosystem; a clinical qualification is not required. ● Familiarity with HIS/EMR, digital-health systems or clinical workflows is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to quickly develop an understanding of clinical datasets, including longitudinal and multimodal data. ● Ability to make or learn to make a first-level assessment of a dataset's quality, usability, accessibility and potential value. ● Demonstrated ability to independently engage and manage senior stakeholders across hospitals, clinical practices and other healthcare organizations. ● Strong ownership, persistence, commercial acumen, communication and relationship-management skills. ● Familiarity with healthcare data privacy, consent, data-sharing, regulatory or contractual considerations is preferred; deeper legal or regulatory expertise is not required. ● Comfortable travelling across India for partner meetings. What Success Looks Like Success will be measured by the ability to: ● Build and maintain a high-quality healthcare partnership pipeline. ● Identify and qualify valuable clinical data opportunities. ● Conduct effective first-level data and partner due diligence. ● Maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders and opportunities. ● Progress qualified opportunities through LOI/agreement, data assessment and partnership activation. The emphasis is on building high-quality partnerships that can translate into usable clinical datasets—not simply generating leads or meetings.
