Role Description The Airport Operations Supervisor is a full-time, in office role based in Virudhunagar. This role oversees daily airport operations, including coordinating ground handling activities, monitoring terminal and airside functions, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. The supervisor manages shift staff, assigns duties, and provides guidance to maintain smooth passenger flow and on-time performance. Responsibilities include handling operational issues, supporting customer service teams with escalations, maintaining documentation and reports, and liaising with airport authorities, airlines, and service providers. The role also involves monitoring operational KPIs, identifying improvement areas,



and implementing procedures that enhance efficiency and service standards. Qualifications
• Strong operations and airport operations skills, with experience managing day-to-day airport or similar transport facility activities.
• Proven supervisory skills, including team leadership, scheduling, performance monitoring, and coaching.
• Customer service skills focused on resolving issues, supporting passengers, and collaborating with frontline teams.
• Organization skills for managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to airport operations.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in aviation, management, logistics, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Prior experience in airport operations, ground handling, or transport operations supervision is highly beneficial.
