Role Description The Fabric Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based at Raaha Garments in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. The Fabric Manager will oversee end-to-end fabric procurement and management, including vendor coordination, ordering, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules. This role involves monitoring fabric quality, conducting inspections, and working closely with the quality control and production teams to maintain standards across various fabric types and licensed products. The Fabric Manager will manage fabric inventory, optimize utilization,



and support cost-effective sourcing strategies while maintaining compliance with certifications and buyer requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving fabric-related issues, and supporting continuous improvement in fabric sourcing and handling processes. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of textiles, including knit and woven fabrics, and familiarity with specialized materials used in infants, kids, men’s, and women’s garments.
• Experience in fabric procurement, vendor development, and supply chain coordination, with the ability to manage lead times and negotiate favorable terms.
• Proficiency in fabric quality control, inspection methods, and adherence to relevant standards, certifications, and buyer specifications.
• Demonstrated team management skills, including coordinating with production, merchandising, and quality teams, and supporting a cooperative work environment.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills for working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textiles, Garment Technology, Fashion Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in an apparel manufacturing or export house environment, ideally in Tiruppur or similar hubs.
