DTDC Express LTD is looking for a Regional Operations Manager in Mumbai Location.

- 6:00PM No of Openings: 1 Role: Regional Operations Manager JOB SUMMARY: The role is responsible for overseeing delivery and pick-up related activities, including reverse pick-ups on a daily basis across all branches in the region. The role is also responsible for working closely with the Operations team of respective areas to ensure same day delivery, COD remittance, SmartTrack updates etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
STRATEGIC / TACTICAL
• Overseeing the operational efficiency in the respective business regions
• Understand the market forces, dynamics and focus on improving zone performance OPERATIONAL
• Monitor delivery of all consignments, including e-com parcels in respective region on the same day
• Monitor total operations (both incoming & outgoing), including CRM, cash booking, pick-up and all other activities that are to be undertaken in all branches in the region
• Maintain valuable working relationship with HR, finance & administration departments
• Interact closely with the customers and the CSS departments to resolve critical issues /
• escalations
• Ensure submission of Proof of Delivery (POD) by the team on a daily basis as per defined
• timelines
• Ensure that material packing is done correctly without any defects by the team across all
• branches
• Monitor international booking & forwarding with appropriate checks across all branches in the region
• Ensure quick delivery of load from airport hub to branch / apex location by the team




• Ensure 100% FDM / BDM / status code on system and also on floor across all branches
• Ensure same day delivery of e-com shipments & deposit of COD amount in respective region
• Ensure special care in case of PTP consignments and deliver as per TAT in respective region
• Responsible for overall first, middle and last mile activity on ground, including RVP, portal pick-ups, connecting load to apex as per TAT and direct connection to airports across all branches in the region
• Responsible for DSL performance, DEPS control, BA billing, quality control for the respective region PEOPLE
• Facilitate training programs for team on a regular basis on topics pertaining to operations excellence
• Conduct periodic project reviews with the team and provide direction / guidance as required
• Engage with all team members on their performance feedback & development on an ongoing DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND

EXPERIENCE:
QUALIFICATION
• Graduation (any discipline) with 10 12 years of experience in operations / delivery or similar role
• Prior experience in a supervisory role in logistics / courier / transportation / food delivery /
• grocery delivery and other related industry is preferred KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• Attention to deliver and adhere to timelines
• Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
• Ability to manage client / customer expectations
• Knowledge of courier & logistics operations
• Ability to take decisions with the best available data
