We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team in Mohali. You will handle the full recruitment cycle for technology roles, from understanding requirements to sourcing, screening, and closing candidates. Key Responsibilities
• Understand job requirements from hiring managers and clients, including the tech stack, experience level, and budget
• Source candidates through job portals (Cutshort, Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.), social media, and referrals
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone and video screening calls
• Explain job roles, responsibilities, and company details clearly to candidates
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and interviewers
• Follow up with candidates through the hiring process, from offer to joining
• Maintain candidate data and hiring trackers accurately
• Build and maintain a solid pipeline of IT talent
Required Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (a must-have)
• Confident, polite, and professional on calls with candidates
• Good interpersonal and persuasion skills
• Strong willingness to learn and take ownership
• Good organisation and follow-up skills
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Good to Have
• IT or technical background (B.Tech / BCA / MCA / B.Sc IT or similar)
• Basic understanding of technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, Cloud, and QA, and the difference between IT roles
• Prior internship or 0-1 year experience in recruitment or HR
• Familiarity with job portals and Boolean search
Qualifications
• Graduate in any stream (IT background preferred)
• MBA/PGDM in HR is an added advantage
