Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Support qualified to provide 24x7 support for mainframe and distributed applications, ensure high system availability, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain application performance across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 production support for mainframe and distributed applications.

Monitor batch jobs, online systems, and distributed application environments.

Perform abend analysis, job restarts, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.

Use APM tools to identify performance bottlenecks and prevent recurring incidents.

Support performance tuning, capacity planning, and availability improvements.

Coordinate with development, infrastructure, middleware, and database teams.

Support month-end, quarter-end,



and year-end business-critical activities.

Ensure SLA adherence and follow ITIL processes.

Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

VSAM and CICS.

Control-M and job scheduling.

Distributed application production support.

APM tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, or similar.

Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL).

Log analysis, monitoring, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.
