Role Description The Branch Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hajipur. This role involves managing branch-level customer relationships, including onboarding new clients, explaining loan products, resolving queries, and providing ongoing support to women borrowers organized under the JLG model. The Branch Relationship Manager oversees daily branch operations such as loan documentation, disbursement coordination, collection follow-up, and basic portfolio monitoring to ensure asset quality and regulatory compliance. The role also includes conducting field visits, facilitating group meetings, verifying customer eligibility, and promoting financial literacy and responsible borrowing.



The Branch Relationship Manager collaborates with branch staff and regional teams to meet business targets, improve customer experience, and strengthen the branch’s presence in the local community. Qualifications
• Robust customer relationship management and client service skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with rural and semi-urban communities.
• Basic knowledge of microfinance, lending processes, and branch operations, including loan documentation, collections, and portfolio monitoring.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and local languages, with the ability to conduct group meetings and explain financial products clearly.
• Sound numerical ability and attention to detail for handling cash, maintaining records, and ensuring data accuracy in branch reports.
• Proficiency in using computers and mobile applications for daily reporting, customer data management, and internal communication.
• Ability to work on-site, travel locally for field visits, and operate independently while collaborating with branch and regional teams.
• Prior experience in microfinance, banking, or rural financial services is an advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a background in commerce, finance, or social work is preferred.
• Commitment to ethical practices, financial inclusion, and supporting entrepreneurship among women from economically weaker sections.
