Job Description
SAP FICO – In-House Cash (IHC) / Payment Processing Consultant Role: SAP FICO IHC Functional Consultant

Experience:
8+ years SAP experience with solid IHC / Payment Processing expertise

Location:
Chennai / Hybrid, as applicable (Other Location aspirants also apply)

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, implement, enhance, and support SAP In-House Cash (IHC) and payment-processing solutions.
• Support internal payments, central payments, local payments, and central incoming payments, which are core SAP IHC transaction scenarios.
• Configure and support the In-House Cash Center, internal/current accounts, payment orders, and related processes.
• Handle integration between IHC and SAP FI, including payment-program-related processes and accounting integration.



SAP documents IHC as integrated with Financial Accounting and its payment-program functions.
• Work on payment-order processing, clearing, bank statement integration, and reconciliation.
• Support interfaces between subsidiary company codes, central treasury/payment systems, and external banking processes.
• Analyze payment failures, reconciliation issues, posting errors, and interface defects.
• Work with functional and technical teams on IDoc/payment interfaces and related enhancements.
• Perform requirement analysis, solution design, configuration, functional specification preparation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support SIT/UAT, cutover, documentation, knowledge transfer, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, AP/AR, banking, and technical stakeholders. Required Skills
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP IHC / In-House Cash.
• Strong understanding of payment processing and centralized payment scenarios.
• Good SAP FICO knowledge, particularly FI payment and accounting integration.
• Experience with IHC current/internal accounts and payment-order processing.
• Knowledge of IDoc-based payment integration. SAP specifically documents IDocs as a mechanism for forwarding payment orders to the In-House Cash Center.
• Experience with bank statement and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of intercompany/internal payment scenarios.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production-support engagements.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Skills
• SAP S/4HANA Finance/Treasury experience.
• Exposure to Cash Management, Bank Account Management (BAM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), payment formats/interfaces, and Treasury.
• Experience in large global manufacturing or automotive environments. SAP FICO/Treasury certification is an advantage.
