Intrinsic Foundries is hiring a Head of Business Development to lead our biochemicals go-to-market and bring in industrial client projects.

ABOUT US
Intrinsic Foundries (IIOT Innovation Private Limited) turns industrial carbon, from emissions and effluents, into a priced manufacturing feedstock. Our photobioreactor systems run beside industry, and our BioFoundry converts the biomass into specialty lipids, bioactive pigments, proteins, biostimulants and carbon materials. We are backed by Transition VC and supported by national programmes including BIRAC. We are now moving from validated technology to contracted revenue, and this role leads that move. WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Own biochemicals sales into cosmetics, nutraceuticals, food, agriculture and specialty chemicals, from first sample through qualification to supply agreements
• Originate and close industrial carbon projects (steel, cement, refineries, chemicals) with the Founder: paid pilots, rental capacity, plant sales and capture as a service
• Build techno-commercial proposals with payback and IRR, and negotiate term sheets and contracts
• Set pricing by product family and protect margin in every deal
• Own the pipeline, forecast and CRM, and build a small commercial team as revenue grows WHAT YOU BRING




• 12+ years of B2B business development with a personal revenue target in specialty chemicals, cosmetic or nutraceutical ingredients, industrial biotech or process technology
• A record of closing multi-crore contracts in long, technical, multi-stakeholder sales
• Experience selling products that pass sampling, qualification and regulatory review
• Comfort defending a project business case in front of a plant head or CFO
• A degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, biotechnology or a related field SOLID ADVANTAGE
• A network among formulators and R&D; buyers, or among plant and sustainability heads in heavy industry
• Capital equipment, EPC or process licensing sales experience
• Export ingredient sales in the EU, US or Southeast Asia
• Experience with PSU processes and public tenders
