Role Description This full time, on-site Senior Architect role is based at UDC’s studio in Coimbatore. The Senior Architect will lead architectural and interior design projects from concept through completion, including developing design proposals, detailed drawings, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with clients and consultants, guiding junior team members, and ensuring that design solutions respond to both aesthetic and functional requirements within an urban context. The role involves overseeing project timelines, managing resources, and monitoring quality standards throughout design and execution. The Senior Architect will also contribute to design reviews,



participate in research and academic collaborations when required, and support integration of digital tools and workflows within the practice. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with demonstrated experience leading complex design projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including planning, coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Candidates should possess skills related to Integration and relevant Software Development or digital tool workflows, enabling effective coordination of design and documentation processes.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite) is highly beneficial.
• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; registration or eligibility for registration as an architect is an advantage.
• Several years of experience in architectural practice, preferably with exposure to urban design, interiors, and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Strong design portfolio, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and buildability.
• Effective communication skills, team leadership capabilities, and readiness to work on-site in Coimbatore.
