Role Description The PhD Program in Chemical Engineering at IIT Goa is an on-site, research-intensive role based in Goa, focused on advancing knowledge in areas such as reaction engineering, process systems engineering, materials, and environmental engineering. Doctoral candidates will conduct independent and collaborative research, design and execute experiments or simulations, analyze data, and publish results in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. Day-to-day activities include literature review, development of research proposals, interaction with supervisors and research groups, and participation in seminars, coursework, and departmental meetings. Candidates may also assist in teaching, mentoring undergraduate or postgraduate students,

• Demonstrated research aptitude through prior projects, publications, or industrial R&D; experience, and familiarity with laboratory or computational tools relevant to chemical engineering.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, maintain research ethics and safety standards, and adapt to a rigorous academic and research environment.
