Role Description: ITM SLS Baroda University is inviting applications for the position of Director – Sports for a full-time, in office role at its campus in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Director – Sports will be responsible for planning, developing, and managing the university's sports and physical education activities. The role involves promoting a strong sporting culture on campus, identifying and nurturing sporting talent, organising inter-university and intra-university sports events, and facilitating student participation in various sporting competitions at university, state, national, and other levels. The candidate will also oversee sports facilities,



coordinate with sports associations and federations, guide coaches and sports teams, maintain sports-related records, and ensure the effective implementation of sports programmes and activities.

Qualifications:
• A relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a university or higher education institution.
• Must have participated in sports competitions at the National Level.
• Strong knowledge of sports administration, event management, and sports development.
• Experience in organising inter-university, state-level, and national-level sports events will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
• Ability to motivate students and promote sports participation and excellence.
• Good administrative and organisational skills.
