KEMANEXA CONSULTING LLP is a Mumbai-based Management Consulting firm working with mid-market businesses on finance, accounting, tax and management consulting. Our Fractional CFO practice works as the finance leadership team for growing companies. We build their MIS, run their cash forecasts, advise on working capital and borrowings, fill in the process gaps and sit in their monthly management reviews. The role You’ll work directly with the engagement partner across a portfolio of client companies. This is not a compliance-only role. You’ll prepare the numbers that founders and partners use to run their business, and you’ll present them in the room. What you’ll do
• Prepare monthly management P&Ls;, budget vs actual reports and variance commentary
• Analyse gross margin by customer and product, and flag loss-making accounts
• Build and roll forward 13-week cash flow forecasts, and track how accurate they turn out
• Maintain working capital dashboards: debtor, inventory and creditor days, and the cash conversion cycle




• Prepare debtor ageing against agreed credit terms and coordinate follow-up with client sales teams
• Track borrowings: limits, utilisation, interest cost and covenant compliance
• Help prepare quarterly financial statements, budget re-forecasts and risk registers
• Prepare packs for monthly client review meetings, take the minutes and follow up on action points What we’re looking for
• CA (newly qualified or up to 3 years post-qualification), or CA/CMA Inter with relevant experience
• Strong Excel

skills:
modelling, lookups, pivots and clean, presentable workbooks
• A good grasp of accounting, GST and income tax
• Explicit written and spoken English. You’ll be explaining numbers to business owners.
• Comfortable handling several clients and deadlines at once Good to have
• Experience with MIS, FP&A; or statutory audit
• Exposure to Tally, Zoho Books or other accounting software
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar dashboard tools What you’ll get
