Role Description The Quality Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chengalpattu. This role involves monitoring and inspecting plated components throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting tests and measurements, documenting inspection results, identifying nonconformities, and coordinating corrective actions with production teams. The Quality Control Engineer will develop and maintain quality procedures, support root cause analysis, and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.



The role also requires clear communication with supervisors and colleagues to report quality trends, support audits, and maintain compliance with relevant industry and safety standards. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, with experience applying these in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret test data, identify defects, and support root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to document findings, prepare reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with Quality Management practices, including use of checklists, control plans, and basic quality tools.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, production, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in quality functions.
• Experience with metal finishing, electroplating, or reel-to-reel processes is an advantage.
• Ability to use measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) and basic statistical quality methods.
• Strong attention to detail, good problem-solving ability, and commitment to safety and workplace discipline.
