About the Company
Gems From Jaipur is a custom gold and diamond jewellery manufacturing company based in Jaipur, serving international jewellery retailers and private jewellers. We operate with approximately 150 employees across Sales, CAD Design, Manufacturing, Diamond Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Media, Finance, HR and Support functions. We are looking for an experienced business operations leader to work closely with the Managing Director and help strengthen our management systems, improve cross-department coordination and lead the execution of important business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Management Systems
- Establish and implement structured management processes, reporting systems, KPIs and accountability frameworks.
- Define responsibilities, reporting procedures and escalation mechanisms.
- Implement weekly management reviews and action-tracking systems. 2. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate between Sales, CAD, Manufacturing, Finance and HR.
- Facilitate the resolution of operational disagreements.
- Ensure departments work toward agreed company priorities. 3. Business Project Execution
- Translate management objectives into detailed project plans.
- Allocate responsibilities, establish milestones and track results.
- Independently lead business improvement and expansion projects.
- Identify execution risks and resolve bottlenecks. 4. Organisational Development
- Evaluate and strengthen existing management processes.
- Support department managers in leadership,



delegation and performance management.
- Improve recruitment planning, workforce development and organisational efficiency. 5. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
- Oversee SOP development and implementation.
- Evaluate existing management software and coordinate improvements or new implementations. 6. Management Reporting
- Prepare consolidated weekly business performance reports.
- Track organisational priorities and major projects.
- Present risks, recommendations and decisions requiring Managing Director approval. Candidate Requirements
- 12–20 years of relevant skilled experience preferred.
- Proven experience in business operations, general management, organisational transformation or operational excellence.
- Experience working with owner-managed or growing manufacturing businesses is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects and implementing management systems.
- Strong analytical, planning, communication and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working directly with department heads, factory teams and senior leadership.
- Hands-on execution ability is essential.
- Jewellery industry experience is not required. What Success Looks Like Within the first six months, the successful candidate should have established a functioning management-review system, strengthened interdepartmental coordination, implemented clear project accountability and independently delivered significant company improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership and implementation position, not an administrative assistant or advisory-only role. Compensation will be competitive and aligned with relevant experience and demonstrated capability.
