Groovon is building the World's First Always-On Live Music Network, connecting artists, fans and venues before, during, after and between live shows through an integrated ecosystem of discovery, ticketing, immersive live experiences, communities, social engagement, commerce and rewards. Our mission is to champion Fair Reach, Fair Discovery and Fair Pay for artists, alongside Recognition and Rewards for fans. Groovon V1 is now live and in beta. We are building Groovon as an AI-native company, with artificial intelligence at the core of our technology architecture, products, customer experiences and business model. The OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional Founding Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) to lead Groovon's evolution into an AI-native company. As a founding member of the executive leadership team, you will shape our AI strategy and architecture, build our AI capabilities and team from the ground up, and lead the development of differentiated AI-powered products and experiences. This is a hands-on executive leadership opportunity for an entrepreneurial AI technologist who combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision, strong product instincts and the ability to build and lead exceptional teams. The position will initially be structured as a part-time engagement, transitioning to a full-time executive role upon the successful closing of Groovon's current funding round.

Key Responsibilities
1. AI Strategy & Architecture Define and execute Groovon's AI roadmap, technology architecture and long-term intelligence capabilities, ensuring scalability, performance and sustainable competitive differentiation. 2. Recommendations & Personalization Lead the development of advanced recommendation, intelligent matching, ranking, predictive intelligence and personalization systems across a multi-sided digital platform. 3. Agentic AI Architect and deploy intelligent agents,



multi-agent systems and AI-driven automation for consumer and business applications, leveraging advances in generative AI and autonomous systems. 4. AI Product Development & Delivery Lead AI engineering, experimentation, prototyping, integration and production deployment, working closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, commercially valuable AI capabilities. 5. AI-Native Experiences Drive innovation in conversational, multimodal, contextual and predictive digital experiences, applying emerging technologies to create differentiated customer experiences. 6. AI Operations & Optimization Improve software engineering productivity, backend development and business operations through AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, modern engineering practices and infrastructure optimization. 7. AI Team & Capability Building Recruit, develop and lead Groovon's AI engineering team, establishing strong technical standards, organizational capabilities and a culture of continuous innovation. 8. AI Innovation & Intellectual Property Identify and develop proprietary AI technologies, contribute to intellectual property development and evaluate emerging technologies that strengthen Groovon's long-term competitive advantage. Candidate ProfileTechnical Experience
• 12+ years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning or advanced software engineering, including significant technical leadership.
• Proven experience architecting, building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Strong expertise in recommendation systems, personalization, generative AI, large language models and agentic AI.
• Experience with scalable data architectures, graph technologies, cloud infrastructure and MLOps.
• Strong hands-on technical capabilities, including proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead and mentor high-performing technical teams.
• Strong product instincts, commercial judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset. Executive Leadership, Startup & International Experience
• Prior C-suite experience, such as CAIO, CTO, Chief Data Officer or equivalent, is highly desirable.



Exceptional VP or Head of AI candidates ready for a founding executive role will also be considered.
• Startup or high-growth company experience is strongly preferred, particularly involving building AI products, technology capabilities and teams from the ground up.
• Prior experience working with international, globally distributed and multicultural teams, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across geographies, cultures and time zones.
• Proven ability to operate in resource-constrained, fast-moving entrepreneurial environments, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.
• Experience working directly with founders, executive leadership teams, investors and strategic partners.
• Demonstrated ability to translate emerging technologies into scalable products, commercial outcomes and sustainable competitive advantages. Additional Qualifications
• Experience in consumer internet, marketplaces, social platforms, digital commerce or entertainment technology is highly desirable.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
