Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Hiring for one of the Big 4's Clients Overview We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help build, operate, and improve reliable, secure, and highly available platforms and services. You will combine software engineering and systems operations to automate repetitive work, troubleshoot complex production issues, and improve the reliability of customer-facing systems. Responsibilities
• Design, provision, and maintain reliable infrastructure and production services
• Create and manage domains, subdomains, DNS zones, and DNS records across cloud and enterprise environments
• Troubleshoot traffic flow, latency, packet loss, throughput, routing congestion, load balancing, and service availability issues
• Monitor service health and define meaningful metrics, alerts, SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, deployments, remediation, and operational workflows
• Own services end-to-end, including deployment, capacity planning, performance, security, documentation, and operational readiness
• Participate in incident response, triage production issues, mitigate customer impact, and lead or contribute to root-cause analysis and postmortems
• Improve system resilience through redundancy, failover testing, disaster recovery planning, capacity management, and controlled failure testing




• Partner with development teams to improve application performance, observability, deployment safety, and operational maturity
• Review architecture and provide practical guidance on reliability, scalability, security, and cost Requirements
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, production engineering, systems engineering, or a related field
• Solid practical experience administering and troubleshooting Linux operating systems
• Good understanding of networking from the physical and datalink layers through the network transport and application layers
• Hand-on experience with DNS, including authoritative and recursive resolution, record types, TTLs, delegation, DNSSEC concepts, and troubleshooting resolution failures
• Experience troubleshooting congestion, packet loss, retransmissions, latency, connection failures, bandwidth constraints, and uneven traffic distribution
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, distributed tracing, and production troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of infrastructure as code, configuration management, CICD, and version control
• Understanding of secure system design and common security protocols and controls
• Experience participating in on-call rotations and structured incident response
