Role Description The Accountant role at Life Shield Trademart Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and receipts. This role will involve reconciling bank statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Accountant will support tax and statutory compliance, prepare basic financial reports for management, and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.



The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid skills in bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.
• Candidates should possess practical experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant Indian tax and statutory compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (such as CA/ICWA/CS in progress or completed) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a trading, import, or FMCG environment will be beneficial, along with familiarity with inventory and cost accounting.
