Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role leads end-to-end M&A; initiatives, including identifying potential targets, evaluating strategic fit, and supporting transaction execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial and operational analysis, coordinating due diligence across functions, preparing valuation models, and supporting deal structuring and negotiation. The Manager will collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and business leaders to assess risks, integration requirements, and synergy realization.



Additional responsibilities involve preparing executive presentations, monitoring post-transaction performance, and contributing to the development of Fusion CX’s M&A; strategy and pipeline. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data, build models, and develop clear insights.
• Solid grounding in finance, including corporate finance concepts, valuation techniques, and capital structure considerations.
• Practical understanding of accounting principles and financial statements to assess target performance and transaction impact.
• Hands-on experience in due diligence activities, including risk assessment, data review, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Direct exposure to mergers & acquisitions (M&A;) processes, such as deal sourcing, evaluation, execution, and post-merger integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or qualified certification (e.g., MBA, CFA, CA) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-cultural teams.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Experience in services, technology, or customer experience-driven industries is beneficial.
