Hiring: Blue Yonder TMS Consultant – Optimization & Modeling Do you know Blue Yonder (JDA) TMS optimization inside out? Join Savintosh’s TMS managed-services team supporting the global logistics operations of a global customer. What you’ll do
• Drive transportation planning and optimization in Blue Yonder TMS: consolidation, routing, mode and equipment selection, and carrier assignment.
• Use Transportation Modeling (TMOD) to run what-if scenarios and improve plan quality and cost.
• Find out why loads the optimizer can’t plan, and recommend configuration and/or strategy/parameter improvements.
• Validate and test changes with the client’s TMS support team, in line with its logistics strategy.
• Guide the planning team on planning logic, and share know-how across the team. Must have
• 6+ years of hands-on Blue Yonder TMS functional experience, with strong exposure to planning and optimization.
• Excellent knowledge of TMOD,
rates and tariffs, carriers and lanes.
• SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Explicit communication with global business and IT stakeholders. Good to have
• Job Server, User Training, or execution / visibility experience.
• High-tech or manufacturing logistics background.
