Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, and Import sourcing aligned with business objectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations, long-term sourcing agreements, and contract management with domestic and international suppliers to achieve cost competitiveness and supply assurance.
• Establish and maintain a robust supplier management framework, including vendor selection, qualification, performance evaluation, development, and rationalization.
• Identify alternate sources, drive localization initiatives, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials and services.
• Oversee end-to-end procurement operations including purchase planning, purchase order management, SAP master data governance, and supplier communication.
• Manage import procurement activities, including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely clearances and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory regulations, audit requirements, import-export regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
• Drive cost optimization programs through strategic sourcing, value engineering, demand management, contract optimization, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering,



and Business teams to align procurement activities with operational and business requirements.
• Monitor market trends, commodity movements, currency fluctuations, and supply risks to develop proactive procurement strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement and import teams to build capabilities, improve performance, and foster a high-performance culture.
• Drive digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
