Company Description : Prakash Renewable Power (PRP) is part of the Prakash Group, which has been in business since 1975. We supply commercial and industrial customers with open access solar power, and our customers count on that power being there every day. This role is how we make sure it is. What you’ll do:
• Run day to day operations and maintenance across our solar plants
• Monitor generation through SCADA and track performance ratio, CUF and plant availability
• Find the causes of underperformance and fix them quickly: inverter faults, string issues, soiling, shading, degradation
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
• Manage O&M; vendors, technicians and site teams
• Keep clean records of generation, faults, downtime and maintenance
• Work with the grid and substation teams on scheduling, metering and outages
• Make sure everything on site follows safety and statutory norms What we’re looking for:
• At least 5 years of hands on experience in solar O&M; (utility scale or C&I;)
• Robust knowledge of inverters, transformers, HT/LT panels, SCADA and metering
• Comfort reading generation data and spotting problems early
• Experience handling site teams and contractors
• Willing to visit plant sites when needed Good to have:
• Experience with open access plants or grid connected substations
• Knowledge of IV curve tracing, thermography or drone inspections
