Seeking a skilled Core Oracle DBA – L3 with strong hands-on experience in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM. The ideal candidate should have worked in Banking or Financial Services environments, managing mission-critical production databases with high availability and performance requirements. Exposure to Exadata is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
• Provide L2 support for database incidents, performance issues, and service requests.
• Administer and support: o Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) o Oracle Data Guard (Physical/Logical Standby setup and monitoring) o Oracle ASM (Storage management and troubleshooting)
• Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Monitor database performance and perform tuning (SQL tuning, AWR/ASH analysis).
• Handle database cloning, refresh activities,



and migration tasks.
• Participate in DR drills and ensure high availability configurations.
• Work closely with application, infrastructure, and network teams during incident management and deployments.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, SOPs, and operational procedures. ________________________________________ Desired Skill:
• 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Robust hands-on experience in: o Oracle RAC o Oracle Data Guard o Oracle ASM
• Good knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in Banking or Financial Services domain (preferred).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
