Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a QA/QC Engineer (Civil) based in Saharanpur. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes on civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings and method statements, preparing and maintaining quality documentation, conducting inspections and tests of materials and workmanship, and coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and third-party laboratories to resolve quality issues. The role involves identifying non-conformities, initiating corrective and preventive actions, supporting internal and external audits,



and contributing to continuous improvement of quality management systems. The QA/QC Engineer will also prepare quality reports, maintain inspection records, and support the project team in delivering works safely, on time, and to required quality standards. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Inspection to monitor construction activities, verify workmanship, and ensure materials meet project requirements.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and documentation in line with standards and client specifications.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing to support internal and external audits, assess compliance, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in QA/QC for civil infrastructure projects such as highways, bridges, or similar works, preferably with EPC or large construction companies.
• Working knowledge of national and international construction standards, codes, and specifications (e.g., IRC, IS codes, MoRT&H; specifications).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and method statements, with solid attention to detail.
• Proficiency in preparing quality reports, maintaining records, and using basic MS Office tools; exposure to QA/QC software or digital documentation systems is an advantage. <
