Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate Android Automotive Application Framework components.
- Develop and enhance AppManager Services, OEM Services, and second-party applications.
- Perform application framework requirement analysis and system design.
- Design interfaces between Android Application Framework and HAL.
- Develop software using Java and C++ on Android 14 for Qualcomm Automotive SoCs.
- Follow the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SWE1 SWE6) in compliance with ASPICE Level 2 processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
Required Skills
- 6 14 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Android Automotive (AAOS/AOSP 12/13/14).
- Solid expertise in Android Application Framework development.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Android Framework
- Java & C++
- HIDL / AIDL
- Binder IPC
- Android System Services
- HAL Integration
- Qualcomm Automotive Platforms
- Good understanding of CAN, Automotive Ethernet, and vehicle communication.
- Mandatory experience with ASPICE.
- Experience with Git, Jira, SVN, or Bugzilla.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
