We are looking for an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) & AWS Developer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud infrastructure, containerization, automated testing, and database management.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Ruby on Rails (RoR) development.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Proficiency in RSpec for automated testing and test-driven development.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with at least one frontend technology: React.js or Angular.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
- Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Write and maintain automated test cases using RSpec.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database operations.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance, reliability, and code quality.
Work Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Willingness to work from the Bangalore office 3 days per week.
- Comfortable with a 6-month contract engagement.
