Role Description Position: Technical Application Specialist

Hyderabad, India Employment Type: Full-time The Technical Application Specialist will play a key role in supporting RM cross-functional teams and customers in the effective application and utilization of Rugged Monitoring's monitoring solutions across various electrical assets. The specialist will work closely with customers and internal engineering, product development, and technical teams to ensure proper system functionality, integration, and optimal application performance. The position also involves analyzing monitoring data, interpreting equipment condition and performance trends, support on technical reports, and helping customers understand asset health insights to support condition-based and predictive maintenance strategies. Additional responsibilities include supporting product enhancements, conducting technical demonstrations and customer training sessions, developing application guidelines and best practices, investigating technical issues,



and collaborating with cross-functional and global teams to continuously improve product performance and customer experience. Qualifications & Skills
• Analytical

Skills:
Strong ability to analyze monitoring data, interpret equipment performance trends, identify abnormalities, and support technical assessments and data-driven decision-making.
• Troubleshooting & Technical Support: Experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, instrumentation, communication, and system integration issues, along with providing effective technical assistance to customers.
• Technical Application & Commissioning: Understanding of monitoring system deployment, configuration, installation, commissioning, functional verification, and integration with customer systems.
• Laboratory & Testing

Skills:
Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, monitoring instruments, sensors, measurement techniques, and laboratory testing environments.
• Electrical Engineering & Domain Knowledge: Relevant experience in electrical infrastructure, power systems, industrial automation, online condition monitoring, equipment diagnostics, or related technologies.
• Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Specialization or practical experience in transformers, switchgear, rotating machines, or power systems will be preferred.
• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, prepare technical documentation and reports, conduct product demonstrations and customer training, and collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
• Customer Engagement & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving approach, with the ability to understand customer requirements, investigate technical challenges, and provide appropriate application-oriented solutions.
• Work Location & Travel: Willingness to work in office at the Hyderabad office and travel occasionally to customer locations for technical support, troubleshooting, demonstrations, and training activities.
