Role Description The Solar Design & Techno-Commercial Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The position involves designing solar PV systems, preparing technical drawings and layouts, and performing energy yield and shading analyses. The engineer will prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and bills of materials, and support feasibility studies and site surveys. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with sales teams on solutions, supporting negotiations with clients on technical and commercial aspects, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations. The role also includes providing technical training and guidance to internal stakeholders and clients,



and maintaining accurate project documentation and reports. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including the ability to translate technical designs into practical, client-focused solutions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Negotiation skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams and support techno-commercial discussions.
• Candidates should possess Sales and Training capabilities to support the business development team, conduct product or system training, and assist in closing projects.
• Candidates should have knowledge of solar PV system design, electrical engineering fundamentals, and relevant industry standards.
• Candidates should be proficient with design and analysis tools (e.g., PV design software, CAD tools, MS Office) and comfortable working with technical documentation.
• Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field) or equivalent practical experience in solar projects.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
