Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Cardiologist role based in Dehradun at KANISHK Surgical & Super Specialty Hospital. The Consultant Cardiologist will assess and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions, conduct detailed clinical evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests such as ECG, echocardiography, and stress tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include performing and supervising cardiology procedures as per expertise, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. The role involves participation in ward rounds,



intensive care management for cardiac patients, and consultation services for other departments. The Consultant Cardiologist is also expected to contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching or mentoring junior medical staff, in alignment with hospital protocols and ethical standards. Qualifications DNB/DM Cardiology
• Strong foundation in Medicine and Cardiology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Expertise in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular procedures, including invasive and minimally invasive cardiac interventions, as applicable.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine applications in cardiology, including use of nuclear imaging for cardiac diagnostics.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate specialization in Cardiology (MD/DNB/DM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a cardiologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated experience in hospital-based cardiology practice, including emergency cardiac care and critical care collaboration.
• Solid clinical judgment, adherence to evidence-based guidelines, and commitment to patient-centered, ethical care.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and a focus on continuous learning and participation in academic activities.
