Guests can choose from multiple bases and 12 add-ons, resulting in over 12,000 possible chai combinations, from kadak adrak tulsi chai to lighter, delicately flavored options. Chaayos aims to create welcoming tea rooms where people from diverse backgrounds can connect, while enjoying freshly prepared chai and snacks in a modern, comfortable setting. Role Description: The Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the Chaayos outlet in Lucknow in a full time, on-site capacity. This includes managing staff schedules, supervising team members, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality chai and food items. The role involves monitoring customer experience, handling guest feedback, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hospitable environment. The Cafe Manager will track sales performance, manage inventory and procurement, and implement standard operating procedures to support profitability and operational efficiency.



This position also requires coaching and developing team members, enforcing hygiene and safety standards, and coordinating with regional leadership on promotional activities and process improvements.

Qualifications:
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage guests, resolve concerns, and lead a diverse team effectively.
• Candidates should possess Food & Beverage and Food Service skills to oversee preparation, presentation, hygiene, and quality control of all menu items.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to drive revenue, promote menu offerings, and support local marketing or promotional initiatives.
• Experience in cafe, restaurant, or retail outlet management, including staff supervision and shift planning, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, and to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with basic knowledge of inventory management and POS systems.
• Prior experience in hospitality or food service and a diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field are preferred.
