Role Description The Tax Operations Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role focuses on supporting tax-related operational processes, including data collection, validation, and maintenance of tax records and documentation. The associate will help prepare and review tax-related reports, assist in reconciliations, and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, responding to tax-related queries, and providing timely customer service support related to tax operations. The role also involves monitoring process workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the tax operations function. Qualifications
• Solid operations and process management skills, with the ability to follow structured workflows and support continuous improvement in tax operations.
• Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and customers in a professional, inclusive manner.
• Analytical skills to interpret financial and tax-related data, identify discrepancies, and support accurate reporting and reconciliation.
• Clear and professional communication skills for handling documentation, email correspondence, and stakeholder interactions.
• Customer service skills to address tax-related inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of tax concepts, compliance requirements, and financial documentation (experience in BPO or shared services is an advantage).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with ERP or tax systems is beneficial.
• Ability to work with high attention to detail, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
