The role involves managing end-to-end production operations, including: Managing daily production activities as per the production plan. Handling Solid Oral Dosage (SOD) manufacturing, particularly tablets and capsules. Planning and allocating manpower, machines and materials. Monitoring production output, yield, productivity and material consumption. Ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs and safety standards. Reviewing and maintaining BMR/BPR and production documentation. Coordinating with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering and Planning teams. Managing production deviations, breakdowns and process-related issues. Driving productivity improvement and minimizing wastage. Leading and supervising the production team.
