Role Description The Senior Admission Counsellor (Edtech Experienced Only) is a full time, on-site role based in Noida. The individual will guide prospective students through the end-to-end admissions journey, including understanding their background, explaining suitable online degree programs, and clarifying program features, eligibility, fees, and outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions (phone, video, and in-person), managing leads generated through marketing channels, and converting qualified prospects into enrollments while maintaining ethical and transparent communication. The role involves close collaboration with mentors, academic advisors,



and operations teams to ensure smooth application processing and timely follow-ups. The counsellor is expected to use CRM tools, track performance metrics, provide feedback on student needs, and contribute to improving counseling processes and student experience. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage with diverse student profiles and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to deliver empathetic, student-centric support throughout the counseling and admissions cycle.
• Candidates should possess proven Sales skills to manage pipelines, handle objections, and convert qualified inquiries into successful admissions in an ethical manner.
• Candidates should possess Education sector knowledge, preferably in edtech or online higher education, to accurately explain programs, curricula, and career pathways.
• Previous experience (2–4+ years) in edtech admissions, counseling, or academic advising is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with CRM and lead management tools, analyze basic data, and meet defined enrollment targets.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high volumes of inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree or certification in counseling, education, or management is an added advantage.
