Accountable Manager – Aviation Company: Jetinr Industry: Business Aviation / Private Jets

Location:
Delhi NCR Role Overview We are seeking an experienced aviation leader to serve as Accountable Manager for our Non-Scheduled Operator (NSOP) operations. The candidate will be responsible for overall operational oversight, regulatory compliance, safety management, resource allocation and coordination across key aviation functions in accordance with DGCA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as the accountable person for the operator's overall safety, regulatory compliance and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with DGCA regulations, applicable Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs), NSOP requirements and CAP 3100.
• Oversee Flight Operations, Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO), Maintenance, Flight Safety and Quality functions.
• Establish and monitor the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS), occurrence reporting, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with DGCA and other aviation authorities for audits, approvals, inspections, NSOP certification and permit renewals.
• Ensure appropriate financial,



human and technical resources are available to support safe and compliant operations.
• Oversee aircraft induction, fleet planning, leasing arrangements, maintenance contracts and operational readiness.
• Monitor safety performance, regulatory findings, audit observations and corrective/preventive action closure.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ICAO standards and recommended practices, including relevant provisions of Annex 6 and Annex 19.
• Lead coordination among department heads and ensure effective communication, accountability and a safety-first culture. Essential Requirements
• 15+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in aviation management or senior leadership.
• Experience in airline operations, business aviation, private jets, charter operations or an aviation operator.
• Strong knowledge of DGCA regulations, NSOP requirements, applicable CARs, CAP 3100 and SMS.
• Experience in regulatory audits, compliance monitoring, operational risk management and safety oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional aviation teams and resources.
• Ability to oversee budgets, staffing, contracts and operational resources.
• Must meet applicable DGCA eligibility and acceptance requirements for the Accountable Manager position. Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience as an Accountable Manager or DGCA-approved/accepted post-holder.
• Experience in NSOP certification, recent operator setup, private aviation or charter operations.
• Exposure to aircraft leasing, fleet induction, CAMO/MRO oversight and aviation contracts.
• Experience with Hawker and Bombardier Global business jet fleets. Key Competencies
