Role Description The Purchasing Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Thiruvarur, responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities to support crane design, fabrication, and maintenance operations. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and evaluating suppliers, preparing and processing purchase orders, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. The role involves coordinating with engineering, production, and inventory teams to align purchasing plans with project timelines and technical specifications. The Purchasing Engineer monitors stock levels, analyzes usage trends,



and optimizes purchasing processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance with safety standards. This role also requires maintaining accurate procurement records, resolving delivery or quality issues, and contributing to continuous improvement in supply chain performance. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase management and purchase planning.
• Candidates should be proficient in handling purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and inventory requirements.
• Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments, preferably related to cranes or heavy equipment.
