Role Description The Business Intern role at dailymattr is a full-time, remote position supporting core business operations and growth initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and user research, analyzing product and content performance data, and assisting in developing business plans and strategic proposals. The intern will help streamline processes, prepare presentations and reports, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and support customer-facing workflows to improve user experience. This role may also involve working on special projects, such as exploring new revenue opportunities, contributing to partner outreach, and documenting business insights for leadership.



The position is designed for individuals interested in digital media, news, and business strategy, and offers mentorship and exposure to a fast-paced startup environment. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights.
• Foundational knowledge of business and business planning, including understanding of basic models, metrics, and strategy concepts.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for preparing reports, presentations, and stakeholder updates.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to understand user needs and support improvements to the user experience.
• Interest in digital media, news, and product-led businesses; prior internship or project experience in these areas is beneficial.
• Proficiency with productivity and analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, and collaboration platforms).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams.
